Odelia is a Grand Cayman 56, manufactured by Len Hwa Yards in Kaohsung, Taiwan. She is 56 foot long with a 17 1/2 foot beam and a 4 1/2 foot draft. Powered by two 450hp Cummins diesels, she cruises at 8 to 9 knots with a range of 1200 to 1500 nautical miles.

We have lived aboard since 2000, initially in Barrington, Rhode Island. After my retirement in 2002, we began cruising full time. We cruised in Florida and the Bahamas (2002 to 2004); seven years in the Med (2004 to 2011); two more years in Florida, Georgia, and the Bahamas (2011 to 2013); and we returned to the Med in the summer of 2013.

We normally cruise in the summer to Turkey, Greece, and Cyprus and winter in Israel.
